The Schools of SVUSD…
Located in South Orange County, SVUSD is the county’s fourth largest school district. The Saddleback District provides a highly regarded educational program to approximately 27,000 students from its attendance area that encompasses over 95 square miles.
Saddleback Valley Unified School District has twenty-four Elementary Schools, four Intermediate Schools, four High Schools, one Continuation High School, one Independent Study High School, and one Special Education School. School. Twenty-nine schools have been recognized as “California Distinguished Schools,” eleven “National Blue Ribbon” schools and two “California Yellow Ribbon Schools.” Silverado High School continues to be recognized as a “Model Continuation High School.”
Saddleback Valley Educational Foundation is in a unique position to assist with raising funds for district-wide programs focused on STEM. Founded in 1983 by community members who wanted to enhance the educational experience of students in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District, as a district-wide non-profit foundation SVEF enables individuals and organizations to support their local schools through tax-deductible donations.
